Union
Bank of India (UBI) has
released notification advertisement on 13th February 2015 on the
official website for a total of 69 vacancies/ posts of Forex Officers Scale Grade I, II & Economist Scale Grade I for
all eligible graduate candidates complete their degree with 55% or above marks.
The online application will be started
from 13th February 2015 on the official website of UBI. Any form
other than online application will not be accepted and application will be
rejected. The last date to apply online/ closure of online registration is 28th
February 2015.. Unreserved candidates are required to submit application fees of
Rs.600/- beside that reserved candidates are required to submit to pay Rs. 100/-
as application fees. The Final Selection of the candidate will be made based on
performance in written examination and interview which will be conducted by
selection committee of UBI. It is advised to the candidates to read the
guidelines/ instruction before applying online for these posts. The interested
candidates can download notification/ advertisement and apply online from the direct
link provided in the end of the posts. It is mandatory to the candidates to
provide mobile number in online application form. An alert to download admit
card will be sent to the applied candidate on e-mail and SMS. Candidates will
have to login to their account with registration ID and Password to download Admit
Card.

Process to APPLY ONLINE
Candidates are required to read the instructions which
are mentioned in the advertisement before filling ONLINE application form. Candidates are required to go to Apply
Online for Registration direct Link provided in the end of the post. Click on
the direct link say Apply ONLINE for these Posts. Candidates are required to Fill
ONLINE Application form carefully especially to Red star mark column. Don’t leave
RED star mark columns. Mobile No. is mandatory Column to be filled by the
candidate on which password will be sent by Organization. Click on
submit button for Registration of Step I. Select the payment Bank for Payment
of Application Fee. Select the Mode of Payment E-Challan. Take a print of
challan and Make the payment to the bank which is mentioned in the
advertisement. It will take 48 hours to activate the link again for
registration of Part II. Attach Scanned colored photo and signature as asked in
prescribed size. Enter the other required field mentioned on screen. Click
on submit & lock button. It will process your application form for final
submission. If it goes all correct it will show you a massage of Submitted
Successfully. Save and Print the application form for future
requirements.
About UBI SO Recruitment 2015 – Exam Syllabus,
Exam Pattern and Selection Process Details
The Final Selection of the candidates
will be made based on the performance in written examination which will be
objective type, Group Discussion and personal interview.
1st
Stage - Written Examination
The written examination will be
provided in bilingual language i.e. English and Hindi.
The written exam will be conducted by Online
MODE. Written Exam will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQ) containing
a total of 200 questions which are required to be completed within 2 hours. These
questions will come from various sections i.e. Professional knowledge relevant
to the post (50 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks),
Quantitative aptitude (50 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 50
marks), English language – (50 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 25
marks) and Reasoning (50 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 25 marks).
There will be negative marking of 1/4th allotted for each wrong
answer deliver in the examination.
The Online Examination, if conducted,
will be tentatively held in the month of March / April 2015 at the following
centers: (a) Bengaluru (b) Delhi (c) Kolkata (d) Lucknow (e) Mumbai.
UBI SO 2015 Cut
off Marks
The applicant shall be required to
qualify in each Test of the Online Examination (if conducted) as per cut-off
marks, subject to minimum qualifying marks in the aggregate of 200 marks, both
of which will be fixed by the Bank.

2nd
Stage – Group Discussion
A Group Discussion, if conducted, shall
carry 50 marks and shall be held to assess presentation skills, leadership
qualities, inter-personal qualities, team spirit, etc. of the applicants. The
minimum qualifying marks for the Group Discussion would be 25 marks (22.5 for
Reserved Category applicants).
3rd
Stage – Personal Interview
A Personal Interview of 50 marks shall
be conducted to assess the academic & job knowledge, power of expression,
clarity of thought, qualities of leadership, extracurricular activities,
hobbies, general demeanor, behavior, communication skills, suitability for the
post, etc. of the applicant. The minimum qualifying marks for the Personal
Interview would be 25 marks (22.5 marks for Reserved Category applicants).
