Uttrakhand SET 2015 Admit Cards |
Kumaun University, Nainital has released admit
cards on 19th February 2015 for the written examination which is
scheduled on 01st March 2015 at 11 various centres i.e. Almora, Nainital,
Pantnagar, Haldwani, Pithoragarh, Gopeshwar, Uttarkashi, Srinagar Garhwal, Dehradun,
Haridwar and Roorkee in all over the state. Uttrakhand State Eligibility Test (U-SET)
will conduct written examination of Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 in various
subjects such as
Commerce, Kannada, Economics, English, Political Science,
History, Geography, Hindi Sociology, Management, Tourism and Administrator,
Psychology, Social work, Criminology, Law, Sanskrit, Physical Education, Folk
Literature, Urdu, Public Administration, Computer Science and Application,
Physical Science, Mathematical Science, Chemical Science, Life Science,
Environmental Science, Home Science, Electronic Science and Home Science on the
scheduled time mentioned in the admit cards which can be downloaded by the candidates
by entering registration number and password of the candidates which is
mentioned in the filling online application form. It is mandatory for
candidates to enter in the examination hall by Admit cards. No candidates will
be allowed to attend written examination without admit cards. No late coming
candidates will be allowed to appear in the written examination. Those

About U-SET
Exam 2014- Exam pattern, Exam Syllabus, Qualifying Marks and Process of
SelectionU-SET Exam 2014 will be conducted successfully conducted on 01st March 2015. The U-SET Exam will be conducted by Pen MODE. The OMR sheet will be filled by Blue/Black ball point pen.
The written exam will be consisted of
three papers i.e. Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 in morning and evening session.
Paper 1 will be scheduled in the morning from 09:30 AM to 10:45 AM, then Paper
2 will be started after a break of 15 minutes that means from 11:00 AM to 12:15
PM. Paper 3 will be conducted in the noon from 01:30 PM to 04:00 PM.
In Paper 1 –
Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
Exam will be designed to access the
teaching/research aptitude by solving reasoning ability, comprehension,
divergent thinking and general awareness questions in the exam. In this paper a
total of 60 Multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of
which the candidate will be required to answer any 50 questions and four
options will be provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct
answer. Total marks for exam will be 100 marks. The time duration
for exam will be 1 ¼ hours or 75 minutes.
In Paper 2 –
Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
In Paper 2, a total of 50 questions
each of carrying 2 marks will be provided and all questions will be compulsory
to answer. There will be no choice in paper 2. Total marks for exam will be 100
marks. The time duration for exam will be 1 ¼ hours or 75 minutes.
In Paper 3 –
Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
In Paper 3, a total of 75 questions
each of carrying 2 marks were provided and all questions were compulsory to
answer. There will be no choice in paper 3. Total marks for exam will be 150
marks. The time duration for exam will be 2 ½ hours or 150 minutes.
