Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) has released notification on 05th
March 2015 for written examination schedule for DSSSB MVI Gr II (DASS) Tier 2
Exam for the posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI), Motor Vehicle Inspector
(Male) and Grade II (DASS) against post code 42/13, 21/12 & 90/09
respectively. The written examination for Tier 2 will be conducted on 29th
March 2015 in the morning session. The online admit cards for Written
Examination Tier 2 will be available from 19th March 2015 at 10:00
AM to 28th March 2015 upto 11:59 PM on the official website of
DSSSB.

About DSSSB MVI Exam 2014 – Exam
Syllabus, Exam Pattern and Selection Process
1st Stage – Written Examination
(Tier 1)
The exam was conducted on 29th March 2015 by PEN MODE. Candidates
were provided OMR Sheet in which
candidates details and Answers were provided on this sheet. Candidates had to
fill circles by Blue/Black Ball Point Pen. Answers were provided in four
options in which candidate had to choose one as correct Answer. The exam consists of five sections English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and
Test of English and Hindi Language. Each section
contained 20 questions of 20 marks. The Exam was a multiple choice question
(MCQ) in which 100 questions of 100 marks was given. There was a negative marking of 1/4th
to each wrong answer delivered in the examination.
DSSSB MVI Exam 2014 Cut off Marks
Qualifying Marks
The UR/General candidates had to score 40% marks to qualify this exam. For
OBC candidates the qualifying score 35% and for SC/ST the qualifying score is
30% to move to next stage which is written test Tier 2.
2nd Stage – Written Examination
(Tier 2)
DSSSB Tier 2 Exam will be a combination of two parts i.e. Part 1 -
Objective and Part 2 - Descriptive Exam. The objective examination will be a
MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) and Descriptive exam will be written exam in
which a test of essay writing, letter writing, Expension of ideas in English
Language and subject related questions. Each MCQ questions will carry one mark.
There will be negative marking and 0.25 marks shall be deduced for each wrong
MCQ answer.

3rd Stage – Personal
Interview
Three times more candidates will be called for interview. The qualified
candidate will have to face interview to be conducted by DSSSB
Panel/experts. Then a merit list will be prepared based on the
performance of the candidates in Interview.
