The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering
Entrance Examination (VITEEE) popularly known as VITEEE had been successfully
organized from 06th to 17th April 2016 at many exam
centres for getting admission to under graduate courses of Engineering on 5000 seats
of in VIT on two campuses of Chennai and Vellore. About 1.84 lakh candidates
had registered and attended this entrance examination on scheduled date, time
mentioned in VIT Admit card 2016. The Good news is that VITEEE Result 2016 has
been announced on 28th April 2016 and scorecard can be downloaded/
checked by following the simplest procedure described in the end of the page
with certain important direct links.
VITEEE Result 2016
Declared: The entrance exam was an online test at 112 cities across India and
was an objective type test in MCQ paper was provided with four alternative
answers as option. The questions were asked from Physics (40), Chemistry (40),
Math/ Biology (40) and English (5) in which each question was of one mark. The
total marks for VITEEE 2016 was 125 marks and time duration was 2 ½ hours. There
was no negative marking scheme applied for this entrance examination. The final
merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in VITEEE Result 2016
(Announced now). The VITEEE Rank Card 2016 will be prepared and distributed to
the candidates by online mode. The VITEEE Rank Card can be downloaded here and
counseling will be organized on the basis of rank obtained by candidates.
VITEEE Scorecard 2016 Rank Card Counseling Admission Process
VIT has announced VITEEE Result 2016 & Merit List
on 28.04.2016 (earlier it was scheduled to be announced on 29.04.2016 by the
board) and declared first phase of counseling (1st Counseling
schedule) from 09th May to 12th May 2016.
Earlier VITEEE notification was available on 27th
November 2015 and last date to submit application form duly filled & signed
by the interested candidates was 15th March 2016. The CBT slot
booking had been completed from 18th to 20th March 2016.
The VITEEE Admit card was available on 18th March 2016 on vit.ac.in.
The VITEEE was conducted from 06th to 17th April 2016 in
three sessions i.e. Morning, noon & evening.

How to download VITEEE Result 2016 Scorecard/ Rank Card
The process is quite simple that anyone of you can
easily download your VITEEE Result & Scorecard 2016. Firstly, click on the
direct link given below which moves you on the official result page. You will
see the logo appeared as ‘VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE- 2016)
Results’. Below that logo, enter your 10-digit application number and select
your date of birth (DOB) from drop down list. Enter the verification code which
is given in the image provided here. Finally, press ‘Submit’ button to download
VITEEE Result 2016 into your device. Within a few seconds, your VITEEE
Scorecard 2016 will be displayed on your computer/ mobile screen which must be
noted down by the candidates for future references/ use.
