The main exam will be a combination of both objective as well as
descriptive type test. The objective type will be held for 200 marks where as
descriptive type test will be conducted for 50 marks.

In the Main exam objective test, four sections; reasoning and computer
aptitude, data analysis and interpretation, general/ economy/ banking awareness
and English language will be given with following exam pattern/ scheme/ time

In the main exam descriptive test, a test of English language will be
organized for 30 minutes. The candidates will give answer by typing on the
computer keyboard. The descriptive test will be held immediately after the end
of objective type test of main exam.
SBI has implemented negative marking scheme for both preliminary and
main exam. The 1/4th penal of each wrong answer delivery will be
deduced to the scorecard/ marks obtained by the candidates.
