Puzzles are of many types such as sitting arrangement puzzle, descriptive puzzle etc.
Descriptive Puzzles are those puzzles in which 6-8 persons are discussed with their profession or any other form in the same format need to be arranged. These puzzles are not only time consuming but it reduce the performance/confidence of an aspirant also. Sometimes aspirants get stuck to solve a puzzle question and lose their valuable exam time.

Seven friends P, F, R, T, Q, N and D are studying different specializations IT, Civil, HR, Marketing, Finance, Journalism and Pharmacy not necessarily in the same order. Each of them have liking for a different color red, blue, green, yellow, pink, orange and grey not necessarily in same order. Three of them are girls.
P likes yellow color but does not study IT or HR. The one, who studies Civil, likes grey color and is a girl. Q who is sister of N, studies Marketing and likes pink color. D’s specialization is in pharmacy and likes red color. N, the wife of R studies HR and like green. F likes grey and R likes orange, the one, who likes blue studies Finance.
Solution: TABULAR METHOD
PRINCIPLE OF TABLULAR METHOD: Read the statement line by line and mark in the table accordingly.
Step 1: Draw Table
Now Seven Friends of their seven specializations in which three are girls are given.
So take 7 rows for Friends and 14 columns to specializations & colors. Take one more row to write specializations & colors and two more columns to write friends name & their genders as shown in Table below:
Write down them all in the same sequence as provided in the question. Put seven friends in first column and their specialization in first row with their gender.
