Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) had successfully conducted written examination on 18th
April 2015 in two sessions for paper I & paper II i.e. for Paper I from
10:00 AM to 1:00 PM & for Paper II from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at various
centres in all over the state. The written examination was conducted for the
selection of 417 posts of Assistant Agricultural Officer (AAO) under TPSC. The latest news is that TNPSC is going to
release the result of written examination which is expected to be released in
end week of April 2015 or first week of May 2015 on the official website. Earlier
TNPSC had released NOTIFICATION NO: 01/2015 Advertisement No. 405 in which online
application was invited from 31st January 2015 to 27th
February 2015 on official website. The last date to deposit fee through Bank or
Post Office was 02nd March 2015. A huge number of candidates had applied
for this written examination. Those candidates who had appeared in this written

The Final selection
of the candidates will be based on the performance in the written test and Oral
Test.
1st
Stage - TNPSC AAO Exam 2015
The written
examination was conducted on 18th April 2015 at Chennai, Madurai,
Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore, Salem and Tirunelveli. The written exam paper I was
consisted of 200 questions of 300 marks for Agriculture in which questions were
asked from Diploma Standard which were required to be completed within duration
of 3 hours. The written exam paper II was consisted of 100 questions of 200
marks for General Studies which were required to be completed within 2 hours.
2nd
Stage – TNPSC AAO Oral Test 2015
Candidates
must note that there will be oral test of 70 marks after the completion of
written examination. Candidates should appear for the written examination /
Ortal Test/ Certificate Verification at their own expenses. (ii) The Commission reserves the right to
increase the number of Examination Centres and to re-allot the candidates. Final
selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates
at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation
of appointments. Appearance in both the papers of the Written Examination and
Oral Test is compulsory. A candidate who has not appeared in any one of the
papers in Written Examination or Oral Test will not be considered for
selection, even if he/she secures qualifying marks in the Written Examination
or Oral Test.

Candidate must bring at least one set of photo copy attested along with
original document required for document verification before the commencement of
Oral test in form of interview. A candidate must have following set of original
document for verification in interview-
