Recently, the most of the
candidates are looking for getting admission to reputed, renowned, esteemed and
popular MBA colleges through Common Admission Test (CAT) which was held on 29th
November 2015 on 115 centres across the country in two sessions (morning &
evening). About 2 lakhs candidates have applied and appeared in this MBA
admission entrance test and these candidates are waiting CAT Result Scorecard
2016 which is going to be declared on 12th January 2016 on
iimcat.ac.in. The CAT Scorecard will be valid up to one year and will be
automatically expired on 31st December 2016.
CAT 2015-16 Merit / Rank for Counseling Admission List
The CAT official website has
remained closed on 3rd & 04th January 2016 for
uploading result/ scorecard of CAT 2015. The result will be tentatively
announced on 12th January 2016. The CAT 2016 scorecard / marks list will
be published on the basis of which cut off for each category will be set and a
merit list will be prepared with rank number to be used for counseling for
admission to 19 IIMs and 150 B-Schools/ colleges for MBA course for academic session
2016-18.
Earlier CAT 2015 notification was
published on 26th July 2015 and online application was invited from 6th
August to 20th September 2015 for admission to B- School for MBA
Courses in the Colleges/ Institutes. The last date to apply online was extended
to 25th September 2015. The CAT Admit card was uploaded on 25th
October 2015 for CAT exam to be held on 29th November 2015. The CAT
2015 result updates has been available that the result is tentatively declared
in the second week of January 2016.
