Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion
Board (UPPRPB) had invited applications from 11th March to 4th April 2016 for
1865 vacant posts of computer operator pay scale of Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200/- GP 2400/-.
Huge numbers of young and eligible candidates (18 to 28 years) had applied and
paid application fees of Rs. 400/- by online mode on the designated bank
specified by the board. The last date to pay online application was 6th April 2016
till 5:00 PM.

UP Police Computer Operator Typing Test Admit Card 2016
The exam date may be organized in May / June 2016. An official notice of exam date, list of eligible candidates, uploading of online admit card information and instruction to be followed in exam will be uploaded on uppbpb.gov.in. The online admit card will be uploaded 18-20 prior to exam declaration date. Those candidates who have applied successfully and willing to attend exam, they can download their UP Police Computer Operator Admit Card 2016 from direct link available here. The result will be prepared and uploaded very soon after exam date.
The shortlisted candidates must go through typing test to be performed in Hindi & English on computer keyboard. The final merit list will be prepared from marks obtained in written test, typing test and academic performance / marks in educational certificates.

UP Police Computer Operator Typing Test Result 2016 Typing Test Scheme
UP Police Computer Operator Result 2016 will be
available within a period of 45 to 60 days after the exam date. The qualified
candidates will be shortlisted and called for further process (typing test).
Based on the total marks obtained in exam, a merit list will be prepared out of
160 marks. The minimum cut off marks for each category will be set to qualify candidates
for English and Hindi typing. The typing test will be organized to assess
typing speed of the candidates on the computer desktop (provided by the board)
or laptops (candidates own lappy). The date, time and venue of typing exam will
be notified by the board. A time period of 10 minutes will be given to type an
English passage of 700 words and Hindi paragraph of 500 words. For Hindi
typing, candidates must use UNICODE based in-script keyboard on the typing
venue.
