ITBP HC Selection Process

The final selection process for Indo Tibetan Border Police Force constable post will be comprised of seven steps or stages which need to be qualified for final appointment joining of the candidate. This stages are discussed as -

1. Written test

2. Physical standard test (Height and chest bar)

3. Physical Efficiency Test (Running)

4. Trade test

5. Merit list based on the marks obtained in written test

6. Document verification

7. Detailed medical test

Written Test

ITBP Head Constable admit card will be available at physical test, written test and document verification stages of the candidates. The qualified candidates will be called for physical Efficiency Test in which physical standard test with Efficiency Test will be organised in order to measure the work efficiency of the candidate.

In the physical standard test height is to be measured along with chest and weight measurement. The female candidates hite bar will be assessed.

Physical efficiency Test will be qualifying nature and the qualified candidates will be secured for final selection list. 

For Male Candidates

·         Race 1.6 Kms within 7.30 Minutes.

·         11 Feet long Jump in three chances

·         3 1⁄2 Feet High Jump in three chances

For Female Candidates

·         Race 800 Meters within 4.45 Minutes.

·         9 Feet long Jump in three chances

·         3 Feet High Jump in three chances
