The final selection
process for Religious Teacher of Indian Army will be comprised of two steps or
stages which need to be qualified for final appointment joining of the
candidate. This stages are discussed as -
A. Physical Standard
and Fitness Test

Physical
Standard and Fitness Test
Indian Army will
conduct physical fitness test in which height, chest, weight and physical
fitness will be checked by the officials.
(a) Height (cm) - 160
(157 for Gorkhas & Ladakhi region candidates)
(b) Chest (cm) - 77
(c) Weight (kg) - 50
(48 for Gorkhas)
(d) Physical Fitness Test

1.6 Km Run (1600 Mtr)
Candidate Upto 30 yrs
of Age: should be able to run in 05 Minutes 45 seconds.
Candidate beyond 30 yrs
of Age: should be able to run in 06 Minutes 30 seconds.
Note: Provisions for
extra time for 1.6 km run in Hilly Terrain Areas: -
(i) Between 5000 ft to
9000 ft - Additional 30 secs
(ii) Between 9000 ft to
12000 ft - Additional 120 secs
Written
Test
Indian Army Teacher Admit
card will be available at written test and interview stages of the candidates.
It is mandatory to
produce printout of online admit card at the time of attending any of these
days without which the candidate will be sort out or eliminated from the
selection process.

Indian Army final
merit list will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-2 and
Interview. Only those candidates who come in the merit will be interviewed by a
board of officers at 1 ASC Trg Centre, Bangalore and 39 GTC, Varanasi as
applicable.
Interview Call Letter for Indian
Army may be available within a week before the commencement of interview. The
date of interview will be intimated on the official website and email to the
