SBI PO Final Result 2018 Merit List

According to SBI, “Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.”

The preliminary exam would be qualifying nature only. The purpose of pre exam is to select the qualified candidates for main exam. The main exam of objective type for 200 marks and descriptive type for 50 marks will be conducted by online mode.

Those candidates who would be selected for SBI PO 2018 for Main exam and will be successfully appeared in the exam; they can download their SBI PO Main Result 2018 from direct link given here. The qualified candidates will be shortlisted for Interview and Group discussion to be held for 30 marks and 20 marks respectively. The interview will be organized on September / October 2018. The interview letter would be uploaded on 10^th July 2017.

The interview letter will be started with group discussion of the candidates. Few groups will be given certain topics for discussion. A time limit of approx. 10 minutes would be provided for preparation. Then GD would be performed and candidates will be evaluated out of 20 marks.

SBI PO Interview questions (predicted): The SBI PO Interview will be conducted in which original document verification might be carried out. A selection penal of two or three personnel would ask few questions (3 – 8 questions) based on the history of banking, economics, banking terms, marketing strategies and general awareness/ current affairs.

The main examination will be objective and descriptive test in which objective test consists of 4 section for a total of 400 marks will be conducted for 3 hours.

Objective test -

· Reasoning and computer aptitude - 45 questions - 60 minutes

· Data analysis and interpretation - 35 questions - 45 minutes

· General / economy/ banking awareness - 40 questions - 35 minutes

· English language - 35 questions - 40 minutes

· Total - 155 questions - 3 hours

Descriptive test -

· Two questions of English language containing letter writing and essay of 50 marks for a time duration of 30 minutes will be conducted by the bank.

Negative marking for both the examination preliminary and main examination will be applicable to the test.

SBI PO Cut off Marks: The Preliminary exam for SBI PO 2018 was organized in April / May 2018 as objective type and 100 multiple choice questions was provided for 100 marks. The test was consists of three sections; English Language (30 / 30), Quantitative Aptitude (35 / 35) and Reasoning Ability (35 / 35). Based on the minimum cut off marks, the candidates will qualify candidates for main exam.
